Josh & Leslie Brown
Lead Pastors

Pastors Josh and Leslie Brown met in El Paso, Texas, and married in March of 2004. They have 4 children: Moriah(18), Judah(16), Elisah(10), and Uriah(8). They have served in multiple cities in Texas, in the fields of youth, young adult, and worship ministries. Josh and Leslie have a heart to reach out to the broken-hearted and people that have been wounded by the church in the past.

Pastor Josh is the Lead Pastor at Overflow. His passion is hosting the presence of Jesus and making disciples. He pastored youth and lead worship for over twenty years prior to planting Overflow. Pastor Josh is a coffee and barbecue enthusiast and enjoys fishing and the great outdoors.

Pastor Leslie’s passion is leading worship. She has been involved in worship ministry for over twenty-five years, singing and playing the bass guitar or keys. Pastor Leslie loves being a stay-at-home mom, homeschooling her youngest children, and pouring into her children’s lives at every stage! Leslie also enjoys releasing her creative outlet in other ways as well and has published multiple fiction books.

Aaron & Vangie Guthrie
Group Pastors

Pastors Aaron and Vangie met at church in Grand Prairie, Texas and married in 1996. They have two adult children, Kayleigh, who also serves at Overflow Church, and A.J., who serves in youth ministry in Colorado. Aaron and Vangie have served as small group pastors, youth pastors, and associate pastors over their 28 years of marriage. They have a passion for discipling married couples and seeing God prove time and time again He is faithful!!

Pastor Aaron grew up in Grand Prairie and gave his heart to the Lord at an early age. At the age of 13, while at youth camp, he felt God calling him to serve the church by pastoring and loving His people well. He has a passion for people to walk in freedom and live in God’s amazing Grace. Aaron loves spending time with his family and playing… but mostly watching any and all sports!

Pastor Vangie was born & raised in Grand Prairie. Her passion is to see people get set free and to walk alongside those who want to go from darkness and into His marvelous light. She loves to make deep connections with others while pointing them to Jesus. Vangie was a stay-at-home mom for 20 years, and she loves to be a mom to anyone who needs one. Spending time with her family is her absolute favorite pastime!

Moriah Brown
Children’s Director

Moriah is the Children’s Director at Overflow and oversees KidFlo! She grew up in Grand Prairie, TX, has been with Overflow Church since day 0, and was the first kid to graduate from KidFlo and now has her dream job in children’s ministry. She’s currently attending Christ for the Nations Institute, majoring in children and family ministry, to deepen her understanding of ministry and how God can best operate in her.

Her passions, aside from a heart set on ministry, include anything to stretch her creative muscles: art and writing most especially. She has always had a love for kids ministry, the oldest of 4 kids, and volunteered at Overflow starting right at 11 years old. From churches to yearly summer camps, from being a daycare teacher to now being a Director, she’s been “Ms. Moriah” for a long time. She is absolutely set on a life of serving God, using the calling of teaching over her life, and seeks to love those around her with the love of God for them.

Sarai Garcia
Children’s Co-Director

Sarai Garcia - Children’s Co-Director at Overflow Church, brings over two decades of service to children’s ministry. Her passion lies in witnessing the transformative impact of Christ on young lives. Alongside her husband Daniel and their two sons, Pablo and Elias, they have served at Overflow since August 2021. Recently completing her Degree in Psychology, Sarai looks forward to integrating her education into her teaching career. She aims to inspire and guide children of all ages through her own testament of the power the Holy Spirit and Faith in Jesus. Beyond her professional endeavors, Sarai finds joy in family moments, cooking, nature exploration, and nurturing plants.

Chris Frost
Media Tech Director

Chris and Jessica Frost met at Christ for the Nations Institute, coming from opposite ends of the country. They take great joy in loving the people God sends them and welcoming them as their own family. They married in 2018 and live in Dallas with their miniature schnauzer named Piper.

Chris was born in the great state of New York and attended CFNI in 2014 to study Youth Ministry and Theology. This led him to Pastor Josh’s Graphic Design Class, and to Overflow Church in 2016. In 2022, he assumed the role of Media Director. Doing this, he can pour his passion for creativity, technology, and the feeling of being welcomed and part of something into the people of Overflow Church.

Genesis Bustamante
Media Director

Genes was born in El Paso, TX, but has lived in a few places over the years, including Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua, Los Angeles, CA, and DFW. She has served in various capacities within the church, including children’s, youth, and women’s ministries, and now serves as the Media Director at Overflow. Genesis worked as the Operations Director at her local pregnancy center for 12 years, gaining vast knowledge and experience in administrative skills. She really enjoys spending quality time with her friends, and her favorite place in the world is the beach.

Aaron Guthrie
Youth Director

Aaron Guthrie (AJ) is the son of Pastors Aaron and Vangie and was born and raised in Arlington and Grand Prairie, Texas. In 2012, he moved to Colorado Springs, where he later attended Bethany Global University in Minnesota, studying Ministry and Biblical Psychology.

After graduating, AJ returned to Colorado Springs and served as an associate youth pastor at Vanguard Church, leading the youth ministry for six years. During that time, he developed a deep passion for discipling students and helping them build a genuine relationship with Jesus.

Now, AJ has returned home to Texas to serve at Overflow Church as the Youth Director. His heart is to love students into a real and lasting relationship with Jesus Christ and to see them walk confidently in their identity and purpose.
Outside of ministry, AJ enjoys lifting and fitness, along with his lifelong love for all things in the comic book world.
